On the lovely sunny weekday, Me , Aze and Razlan get ready to get sweaty push our limit to the top of the Kemensah hill.Our goal this time to see the Klang gate dam from the top of the hill.From the Zoo negara paking lot we assy. our bikes and have a quick warm up. We start paddle up tru the Kemnsah village about 4 km and have quick stop for a drinks and chach up our breath. My bike had a small problem where i cant shift the gears. So we made some mods and my bike will stuck a single speed just to climb up the hill...From the Jimbara chalet there will be a some harsh terrain we have to go through. Slowly we paddle up even push up to get to the top of the hill...Just 3/4 of the track, we got lost even we depended on the GPS. Because of the detour, have to go back downhill to get to the otherside. Unfortunatley, Razlan had an accident where he flp down from his bike and had some injury. So we decided to head back. At the middle of the track we stopped at the cool river and have a splendid time wash up ourselves. The wather was not to good and we have to made a dash to the car because the rain start pouring heavily.
Pada 5/ 6/ 08 which is Thursday...untuk orang2 yang tak berkerja, cuti,yang mengganggur, yang ponteng keje..mari kite berbeskal di Kiara downhill track..sure tak ramai orang kat sana..so,boleh buat stunt sesuka hati...anyway, aku dan maximus confirm pergi ari tu dan sape nak join boleh turut serta..
Last Sunday, here at Kiara Hills held an extreme event called Kiara Downhill Domination race 2. This is was a second round event where the riders participated increased to 100 riders. It can be call an international event where participants travel a long way from Singapore and Indonesia. The hill here is massive, if you wanted you could probably build a 10 minute track from top to bottom. The lorry spooked many a rider out, , but below you can see this hill is littered with tracks to ride. The general consensus the course was awesome. A mixture a trail sections and real loose root woods with big fat rock garden.From the Twin Peak which is 260meter elevation, the riders gathered to get dropped. One by one, the riders start paddle up to get the best time to the finish line. There are some section such as the Shaolin Gap, The Wall ride, Garden gap and etc, be a eye catching action by the riders. Flashes from the cameras bright up the jungle whenever the rider made a tricks.Even though, Kiddrock doesn't get the best time here but his spirit will be go on to finish the course.The best thing is the supporters cheered when the Radical rider bravely and successfully dropped the Big Dirt Drop in front the crowd. That was a suicidal !!!Thanks for the supporter who came and have a good time (picnic). Congrat to Radical rider, Kiddrock who survived with small minor injuries from hill top to the bottom end.
hari ahad lepas selamat kite orang gi kiara dan turun bukit dgn selamat..walaupun hari tu banyak rasa kureng senang dgn bunian yang ada dalam hutan...so kite org main dgn man-man je first time masuk track bunian..bleh tahan turun bukit dia...tak susah sangat..tapi last tu ada launcher...tempat and kecik je....tapi tak try pun...
Tanggal hari Mualud Nabi baru2 nie...gotong royong telah selamat dijalankan untuk buat the first and only bike park kat Sri gombak...hari tu sempat le buat pump track sikit, table top ramp on progressthank pada tenaga kerja seperti maximus, slots, gee dean, magic, kiddrock, atoi, nakajima...dan aku...thank pada Atoi kerana bertungkus lumus membawa mighty hilux tuk bawak ' kayu2 pallet yang telah di rembatthank gak pada pak cik 'racer mini' sebab menberi galakkan dan dorongan ...dan juga accersories bike park ....p/s: anyhow...Radical / Sri gombak Bike park now open for public...jangan buang sampah merata..dah makan cari tong sampah ye... update projek Radical Bike park pada 30/03/2008Pada pagi ahad, aku , padlie, magic and maximus start sambung kerja2 berat untuk membuat table top. kerja2 dapat diselesaikan dengan pertolongan kawan-kawan. Thanks to brader indon pasal bagi kayu2 constuction yang lebih2 and yang tak pakai. Tepat jam 4 petang siap 'table top' yang di idam-idamkan, buat pengetahuan anda, nama 'table top akan dinamakan sempana sesiapa yang boleh buat tail whip on air dan land dgn selamat. Pelakon 'riezman' juga datang untuk meninjau perkembangan Radical bike park. update ...Titi northshore dah siap...dan sape2 nak try boleh try..jgn gayat sudah..thanks to brader indon sebab bagi kayu lagi...kawan2 yang chip in dgn beli beluti dan papan...tenaga kerja ari tu kidd dan maximus...aku dtg lewat ..tolong bagi nasik bngkus...hahahahahnext project: buat the wall plak....tinggi 6 kaki..bagi semua rider gayat
Bukit Kiara, one place describe by most mountain bikers, especially the downhiller as heaven and hell for those who been crashed here. The Kiara Domination Event, specifically as downhill racing held here at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur last Sunday. This 4 rounds event of the year started 24 February and will end late of this year. This event may consider as locally sponsored and participated internationally as far from Singapore. There are also teams drove all the way from Penang to participate. The Radical also don’t want to miss it .To be apart of it and KiddRock represent Radical Team to rock the Kiara hill. The event served several categories for the downhiller such as junior category, open category, master category, elite category. Radical team falls in the open category and the competitors were very tough. The race started as early as 10am and continued till 4 pm. The riders dropped down one by one with motor cross style protective equipment, arm pads, leg pads, and full face helmet. The race was packed with actions of slips, skids and crashes. The point is these dare devils tried to complete the track smoothly, avoid crash in fastest time.Even though, Radical team only manages to qualify in final round, well, crashed in middle, it was spectacular event to join in. Thumbs up to Kiddrock and Radical supporters who came to support the race. It may be the first but won’t be the last.
We all headed from Seri Gombak to RRI, Subang that Sunday morning. Me, Azuan, Ezainee, Kidd, Azrul and Fadil ride up to the top of the hill. From there we downhill and practise to aprroach some drops.
